Job Overview

The Household Goods Relocation Specialist oversees the entire relocation process, guaranteeing timely delivery and exceptional customer satisfaction. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the moving process.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Client Communication – Serve as the single point of contact for clients, internal teams, and external partners; respond to all inquiries within 24 hours.
  • Move Planning & Execution – Coordinate and monitor packing, transport, storage, customs clearance, and final delivery for all moves.
  • Documentation & Compliance – Prepare shipping instructions, customs documentation, and invoices; ensure compliance with relocation standards.
  • Shipment Tracking – Maintain up-to-date shipment statuses using internal and external systems; proactively communicate delays or changes.
  • Issue Resolution – Handle service disruptions, claims, and exceptions promptly and professionally.
  • Financial Accuracy – Work with vendors, Sales, Finance, and Billing to ensure accurate invoicing and collect prepayments from prepay customers before service delivery.
