Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a skilled Power Generation Technician to join our team.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and deploying Power Generator (PG) sets during Commercial Power failures to prevent service outages.

  • They will also monitor and maintain industrial and comfort-type AC units in various facilities, as well as keep a check on Rectifiers and other power-related systems supporting network equipment.

  • The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to perform Preventive Maintenance (PMR) of DG sets, batteries, and other backup power systems.

  • Responsibilities include handling fault rectification activities at remote exchanges and conducting regular PMR/CMR activities at Multi-Service Access Gateways (MSAGs).

  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring the status of Huawei, Nokia, and ZTE MSAGs and assisting with office tasks such as maintaining logbooks and preparing purchase requests.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A DAE (Diploma of Associate Engineering) in Electrical or Power is required.

  • The ideal candidate should have excellent knowledge of Power Generation systems and experience in operating and maintaining electrical equipment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently are essential.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are also required.
