About the Role:

Akbar Ali & Sons is seeking a highly motivated Industrial Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in promoting our products and services to potential clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  2. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
  3. Deliver engaging presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions to educate clients about our products and services.
  4. Liaise with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of sales and technical support.
  5. Prepare and present high-quality tenders, proposals, and quotations to secure new business.
  6. Provide expert pre-sales and post-sales support to ensure client satisfaction.
  7. Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
  8. Monitor and analyze sales performance data to inform strategic decisions.
  9. Write compelling reports and sales literature to promote our products and services.
  10. Support the development of other sales team members by sharing knowledge and best practices.
  11. Represent Akbar Ali & Sons at industry events, conferences, and meetings.
  12. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, performance, and customer interactions.

Requirements:

  1. Candidates from diverse backgrounds with excellent communication skills are encouraged to apply.
  2. A strong understanding of mechanical, Mechatronics, electrical, or electronics engineering principles is preferred.
  3. Proficiency in verbal and written English is essential.
  4. Candidates without an engineering background but with strong communication skills can also be considered.
  5. 1-2 years of experience in sales, machinery, or equipment would be advantageous.
  6. Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills are required.
  7. Males must have their own bike and be able to travel outdoors for business purposes.
