Financial Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Specialist to assist with various accounting functions, including financial analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for:

  1. Assisting with daily, monthly, and year-end operations of the Accounting/Finance Department.
  2. Managing receipts, recording revenue, and receivables.
  3. Preparing reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and investigating variances or unreconciled items.
  4. Providing detailed analyses and explanations of transactions.
  5. Preparing general journal entries.
  6. Preparing 1099 forms.
  7. Analyzing information and options by developing spreadsheet reports.
  8. Supporting mergers and acquisitions by reviewing financial information and converting data to the general ledger system.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • CPA or equivalent professional certification.
  • M&A experience preferred.
  • QuickBooks Enterprise experience highly preferred.
  • US-based accounting environment experience preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise.
  • Familiarity with US GAAP practices.
