About the Role

This position involves working closely with the Finance Managers to agree on finance, administration, and general work priorities, ensuring that reports and accounts produced are complete, accurate, and compliant with legislation as well as agreed financial timetables.

Responsibilities
  1. Financial Reporting: Prepare, maintain, and seek approval for payroll journals to be posted as per accounting standards and procedures.
  2. Financial Control: Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable activities, ensuring all bill payments and customer invoicing are met as per deadlines.
  3. Financial Analysis: Support revenue reconciliation and billing processes through maintaining schedules and reports.
  4. Client Communication: Lead client billing and queries related to billing sent to the client.
  5. Internal Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for internal process improvements and implement changes as needed.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in finance with 1-2 years of work experience within a finance environment where they complied with financial accounting procedures and reconciliations. Experience within the IT service industry will be preferred.

  • Business Acumen: Demonstrate high-level business acumen and commercial awareness.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel for pivot tables, and VLOOKUP is required.
