Job Purpose

The Senior Associate Scientist will implement Personal Care/Home Care product development programs for assigned brands/regions by partnering with commercial & supply chain teams.

This includes introducing new innovative products that cater to unmet consumer needs, modifications to existing formulae, and simplification/harmonization of global bundles for the assigned geography.

In compliance with safety standards, defined quality standards, FDA norms, and government regulations.

The position also owns the technology transfer process of new products from lab/pilot scale development to commercial production phase at plants.

Key Accountabilities

  • Drive balanced growth by developing new innovative products to meet consumer/business needs.
  • Partner with team members within GTC and outside GTC to drive balanced business growth.
  • Gain expertise of Personal care/Home care fundamentals and independently lead pilot plant activities with strong focus on EOHS & Quality.
  • Develop strong discernment (end to end business understanding) by partnering closely with commercial & supply chain functions.
  • Constantly find opportunities to improve processes with clear focus improving speed to market for all existing & new products.
