Procurement Officer Job Summary
The role of Procurement Officer involves overseeing purchasing activities to ensure efficiency and high-quality products. This includes supervising staff, maintaining supplier relations, evaluating supply options, approving purchases, and keeping accurate records.

About the Role:
  • Supervise employees in the purchasing department.
  • Develop plans for equipment, service, and supply purchases.
  • Implement procurement policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate and approve products and services.
  • Manage inventories and maintain purchase records.
  • Update supplier information and negotiate contracts.
  • Research prospective suppliers.
  • Prepare budgets, cost analyses, and reports.

Requirements:Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Procurement Officer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.

Other Aspects:

We are looking for an individual with excellent analytical skills and the ability to evaluate complex data. A strong understanding of business operations is also necessary. The ideal candidate should have experience in managing inventory and negotiating contracts.
