Technical Lead for Control Systems

As a Technical Lead for control systems, you will be responsible for leading the design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of new control systems or refurbishing existing ones.

The ideal candidate will have experience in analyzing operational data to design and optimize control systems, as well as implementing and supporting standard SCADA systems for data gathering and analysis.

Additionally, you will prepare specifications and engineering documents for hydro-electric equipment procurement and installation, and provide operations & maintenance recommendations for hydro-electric systems.

This is a leadership role that requires strong project management skills, with up to 30% travel for supervision and execution.

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of relevant experience.
  • 5 years of CAD experience in electrical drawings, including single-line diagrams, schematics, block diagrams, and wiring, adhering to standards such as IEEE, ANSI, NEC, IEC, and ISO.
  • 5 years of experience in panel building, wiring, testing, installation, and commissioning of electrical equipment.
  • 5 years of automation experience, including PLC, HMI, controls networks, DeviceNet, ControlNet, and EtherNet.
