Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Professional to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with the ability to analyze financial data and provide insightful recommendations.

This role is critical to supporting and coordinating all aspects of accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Key responsibilities include managing daily accounting tasks, maintaining the General Ledger, assisting with month-end closing processes, and preparing financial reports.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A degree in Accounting or Finance, combined with relevant experience in a similar role, is essential for this position.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of daily accounting operations
  • Maintain the General Ledger in compliance with established accounting policies and procedures
  • Assist with the month-end closing process, ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Prepare and process billings in accordance with contractual terms
  • Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations and trackers, identifying and resolving discrepancies
  • Create periodically reports and coordinate with the operation team to correct errors
  • Allocate transactions of different vendors to different programs accurately and ensure to use funds from the correct account for payments
  • Implement process improvements and prepare documentation for newly implemented processes
  • Assist in compiling monthly financial statements, monthly accounting schedules, conducted financial analysis on monthly statements, perform bank reconciliations
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Financial Accountant, and other senior members of the company
  • Prepare ad hoc reporting and conduct analysis as assigned
Requirements:
  • Part/Fully Qualified Professional Accounting Qualification / Master's degree in Accounting / Finance or related field
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting policies
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas); familiarity with PowerBI preferred
  • Ability to work with large datasets and produce accurate reports under deadlines
  • Proficiency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of multi-currency transactions is a plus
  • Familiarity with GP an asset
