Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Logistics Coordinator. This position requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling routes based on customer orders, delivery deadlines, and driver availability. Effective communication with drivers is crucial, as they will need instructions, updates, and support throughout the delivery process.

Monitoring the progress of shipments and addressing any issues or delays proactively will also be an essential part of this role. Exceptional customer service skills are necessary to provide timely and efficient service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule routes based on customer orders, delivery deadlines, and driver availability.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers to provide instructions, updates, and support throughout the delivery process.
  • Monitor the progress of shipments and address any issues or delays proactively to minimize disruptions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients through various communication channels.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in logistics, customer service, and/or dispatching is preferred.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, drivers, and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including dispatching software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours as needed, including evenings and weekends.
