Role Overview

The Business Development role will collaborate with the team to identify and refine the target audience based on industry, job titles, company size, and other relevant criteria.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and manage profiles, ensuring they are optimized for visibility and engagement.
  • Monitor and respond to client inquiries and proposals.
  • Develop and execute strategies to improve profile ratings and feedback.
Client Acquisition and Retention:
  • Identify potential clients and opportunities on freelance platforms.
  • Draft, submit, and negotiate proposals to win new business.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business.
Sales and Revenue Growth:
  • Achieve sales targets through strategic engagements.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics to optimize business development efforts.
Market Research and Analysis:
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential growth areas within freelance platforms.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve service offerings and business development tactics.
Reporting and Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of all business development activities and client interactions.
  • Prepare regular reports on business development progress, successes, and areas for improvement.
Job Specification

Proven experience in freelance platforms, B2B sales, or a related field. Key qualifications include:
• 6 months to 1 year experience as BD in IT Sector.
• Strong understanding of freelancing platforms features and algorithms.
• Proficiency in crafting personalized messages.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and lead management systems is a plus.
• Strong networking skills and a genuine passion for building relationships.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with potential clients.
• Ability to research potential clients and new markets for the company.
• Experience in sales or customer service is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
