Job Title: Senior Lab Operations Manager

  • Develop strategic plans for expanding laboratory services across multiple locations.
  • Maintain and improve equipment, ensuring optimal performance and implementing preventive maintenance measures.
  • Assume shift leadership roles, assist in recruitment processes, and establish long-term objectives for lab operations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing queries and supporting laboratory staff at collection centers.
  • Oversee financial planning, reporting, and auditing for lab operations, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Establish policies, protocols, and procedures, manage security budgets, and monitor expenses.
  • Participate in managerial meetings to determine operational requirements, manage daily activities of the Housekeeping department, and maintain high standards of customer service.
  • Prepare schedules and time records for subordinates, supervise inventory management, and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure Quality Assurance and perform additional tasks assigned by management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Qualification: Master's degree in Applied Chemistry from a recognized institution.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of managerial experience in a chain of Labs/Hospital Labs.
  • Excellent communication, time-management, staff-management, and organizational skills.
  • Self-driven, motivated to increase efficiency, and in-depth knowledge of lab operations.
  • Exceptional communication skills and proficiency in IT skills and lab management software systems.
