We are seeking a Retail Development Officer to join our team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with us in identifying and establishing contact with potential individual donors in the retail sector. You will be engaging with and submitting proposals suited to their motivation and appetite, finalizing and closing proposals whereby a donor agrees or commits funds, recording and maintaining databases of donation box placements and other individual donors, conducting town storming activities, maintaining relationships with existing donors, and providing regular feedback on their performance. Other work assigned by immediate supervisors or department managers will also be expected. You will also keep updated with organization requirements and arrange for donations as required.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and establish contact with potential individual donors in the retail sector considering their potential for various products like expansion, zakat or monthly donations etc.
  • Engaging with and submitting proposals suited to their motivation and appetite.
  • Finalizing/closing the proposals whereby a donor agrees/commits funds.
  • Recording and maintaining database of donation box placements and other individual donors.
  • Conducting town storming activities in malls, mosques, markets, societies etc. Activities may include flyer distribution, kiosk activity, displaying banners, hawker activity, and collection of data at kiosk.
  • Maintain relationships with existing donors and provide regular feedback on the performance of their regular contributions.
  • Other work assigned by immediate supervisor or department manager.
