This is a full-time position based in Islamabad, Pakistan. The successful candidate will be responsible for timely and correct financial accounting and reporting of the organization and its subsidiaries in accordance with applicable standards, policies, and processes.

The person will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Group/Local Policies and IFRS, processing transactional accounting accurately and timely, leading and contributing to projects/initiatives for simplification and modernization of financial processes, systems/tools, and implementing controls to ensure authenticity and quality of financial statements.

Your Typical Day:

">

The day-to-day responsibilities include providing financial and accounting advisory on complex accounting matters and new business streams in line with IFRS and Group policies, reviewing and improving current processes to enhance the quality and efficiency of financial reporting, managing audit coordination with external and internal auditors, preparing reports and presentations on financial results, and assisting in the preparation of monthly and consolidated management accounts.

Education and Experience:

">

Candidates should have 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, and must hold a degree in Finance or Accounting, such as ACCA, C.A finalist, or Masters/Bachelor in Finance.
