About this Role

\

As a seasoned IT professional, you will be responsible for managing our information technology and computer systems. Your primary goal will be to ensure seamless operations, develop policies, and implement procedures that drive efficient data processing and computer systems operations.

Main Responsibilities

  2. Manage information technology and computer systems to optimize performance and efficiency.\
  3. Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the operations of information systems and electronic data processing (EDP).\
  4. Develop and implement policies and procedures for electronic data processing and computer systems operations and development.\
  5. Collaborate with managers to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines.\
  6. Hire and manage information systems personnel and contractors to design, develop, implement, operate, and administer computer and telecommunications software, networks, and information systems.\
  7. Control and monitor budgets and expenditures related to computer systems.\
  8. Ensure technology is accessible, equipped with current hardware and software, and aligned with organizational goals.\

Troubleshooting and Support

  2. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network operating systems to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.\
  3. Be familiar with all hardware and software components to provide effective support and guidance.\
  4. Provide orientation to new users of existing technology and train staff on potential uses and benefits.\
  5. Offer recommendations on accessing information and support resources.\
  6. Maintain an up-to-date inventory of technology hardware, software, and resources.\
  7. Monitor and maintain technology to ensure maximum access and utilization.\

Job Requirements

\

The ideal candidate must possess proficient knowledge in computer hardware and software systems, computer networks, network administration, network installation, computer troubleshooting, computer viruses and security, e-mail, and internet programs.

\

They should demonstrate strong management and supervisory skills, ability to install and administer computer hardware, software, and networks, team building skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, decision-making skills, effective verbal, presentation, and listening communications skills, and effective written communications skills.

\

Additionally, they must be honest and trustworthy, respectful, and possess cultural awareness and sensitivity.
