The Human Resources Director is a strategic leader responsible for managing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role oversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain Work Structure: Update job requirements and descriptions for all positions, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Support Organization Staff:
- Establish recruiting, testing, and interviewing programs to attract top talent.
- Counsel managers on candidate selection to ensure the best fit for the organization.
- Conduct and analyze exit interviews to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
- Prepare Employees for Assignments:
- Develop and conduct orientation and training programs to ensure employees are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
- Manage Pay Plans:
- Conduct periodic pay surveys to stay competitive in the market.
- Schedule and conduct job evaluations to assess employee performance and provide feedback.
- Prepare pay budgets and monitor individual pay actions to ensure fairness and equity.
- Recommend, plan, and implement pay structure revisions to align with organizational goals.
- Ensure Planning, Monitoring, and Appraisal:
- Train managers to coach and discipline employees effectively.
- Schedule management conferences with employees to discuss performance and provide guidance.
- Hear and resolve employee grievances in a fair and timely manner.
- Counsel employees and supervisors to promote a positive work environment.
- Complete Human Resource Operational Requirements:
- Schedule and assign employees to tasks and projects effectively.
- Follow up on work results to ensure quality and productivity.
- Manage Human Resource Staff:
- Recruit, select, orient, and train HR staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
- Advances Human Resource Staff Job Results:
- Provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities to HR staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Monitor and evaluate HR staff performance to ensure it meets organizational standards.
- Contribute to Team Effort:
- Achieve related results as needed to support the organization's overall goals.
