Technical Director - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

This position contributes to the achievement of corporate goals through production plan execution and productivity, efficiency, and quality objectives. It oversees the engineering department to ensure smooth plant operations.

The role supervises important construction, renovation, and up-gradation projects of the plant. It is responsible for developing new products in line with the strategic marketing plan. The position manages research & development, including formulation and process development, master technical document development, analytical process development, process improvement & new technologies development.

  • Ensure all products are produced consistently with a high degree of safety, quality, and efficacy through compliance with cGMP standards.
  • Ensure plant operations are smooth and according to cGMP requirements through the engineering team.
  • Ensure production operations comply with regulatory requirements of the country.
  • Monitor and support Production and Engineering teams to optimize production expenses.
  • Monitor and support Production teams to improve and optimize per shift productivity and per person productivity.
  • Contribute to the achievement of Global Compliance of cGMP Standards, International Certifications, and TQM.
  • Provide guidance to the Research & Development team for the following:
    • Formulation and process development
    • Master technical document development
    • Analytical process development
    • Process improvement & new technologies development

The ideal candidate should possess these skills:

  • GMP standards and ICH knowledge
  • ISO standards knowledge
  • Updated knowledge of Pharmaceutics
  • Contemporary concepts of Factory Management
  • Concepts of Human Resource Management for Line Managers
  • Updated knowledge of Regulatory requirements of Pharmaceutical manufacturing
