Job Description

The role of a Quality Assurance Specialist is critical in ensuring the excellence of our software solutions. This position works collaboratively with software developers and architects to identify and resolve issues, guaranteeing the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications, driving precision and accuracy in our testing processes.
  • Record and document results, comparing them to expected outcomes to ensure consistency and reliability.
  • Detect software failures to enable defect discovery and correction, minimizing downtime and enhancing overall system performance.
  • Document and report issues, tracking resolution progress for efficient issue management.
  • Participate actively in application planning meetings, fostering collaboration and strategic decision-making.
  • Establish and maintain automated testing infrastructure, streamlining testing processes and improving efficiency.
  • Develop and enhance test automation scripts, leveraging technology to optimize testing capabilities.
  • Implement Continuous Integration of automated tests using Jenkins, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.
  • Understand the application and its environment to develop an effective automation approach, aligning testing strategies with business objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a software development environment as a programmer or tester, demonstrating expertise and depth in their field.
  • Experience with QA Automation tools, showcasing proficiency in utilizing technology to drive testing efficiency.
  • Ability to write automated scripts for testing User Interfaces, REST-based APIs, and Web Services, highlighting skill in harnessing technology to optimize testing.
  • Experience in problem/issue identification, documentation, tracking, and resolution, emphasizing analytical and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent analytical and organization skills, underpinning strong work habits and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities, adapting to changing circumstances and maintaining focus.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment, fostering collaboration and teamwork.
