Job Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) as per contract. This includes taking the lead on urgent issues and projects, communicating statuses effectively, and assigning necessary resources.

Main Responsibilities:
  • SLA Compliance: Ensure adherence to SLAs as per contract.
  • Urgent Issues and Projects: Lead on urgent issues and projects, communicating statuses effectively, and assigning necessary staffing resources.
  • Documentation: Document system configuration, processes, and tools used by the team.
  • Process Methodology: Have a thorough process methodology and communicate with all stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with development engineering to create and deploy a Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) infrastructure.
  • Environment Development: Develop and implement environments for quality assurance, development, etc.
  • Cloud Environment Support: Deploy and support applications on cloud environment.
  • Infrastructure Security: Ensure infrastructure security, reliability, scalability, and automation.
  • Server Support: Provide direct server support during various operations such as deployment and general production.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate with developers to ensure new environments meet requirements and conform to best practices.
  • Infrastructure Design: Design, implement, and test agreed-upon infrastructures.
  • Automation: Automate deployment of Linux applications, system configurations, and security settings.
  • Talent Acquisition: Evaluate candidates for open positions.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or similar relevant field.
  2. Experience: Minimum 8 years of related experience in professional industry.
  3. Tools and Technologies: Working knowledge of tools like Jenkins, Azure, App Center Cloud Formation, Terraform, Ansible, Subversion, Docker, or relevant.
  4. Data Platforms: Knowledge of both Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and NoSQL data platforms such as MySQL, MSSQL, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
  5. Operating Systems: Using Windows Servers on VMWare, IIS, MSSQL, MongoDB.
  6. Scripting Experience: Advanced level scripting experience (Python, Ruby, Bash, Powershell).
  7. Linux Experience: Strong experience with Linux distributions (Rhel 8, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Amazon Linux).
  8. Team Collaboration: Experience working embedded with development teams, helping them automate/optimize.
  9. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  10. Adaptability: Flexible attitude and versatile personality.
