Job Title: Credit Recovery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Credit Recovery Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to pursue a career in financial services and gain experience in debt recovery.

Responsibilities:

  1. Initiate and manage the process of recovering outstanding debts from clients, utilizing effective communication and negotiation skills to resolve disputes and secure payment.
  2. Contact customers via phone, email, and in-person visits to negotiate payment plans and resolve outstanding balances, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
  3. Review and analyze credit accounts to identify delinquent payments and potential risks, providing insights to inform strategic business decisions.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and negotiations with clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of credit recovery processes, promoting a culture of teamwork and cooperation.
  6. Provide regular reports to management on the status of outstanding debts and recovery efforts, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
  7. Stay abreast of market trends and industry developments to optimize debt recovery strategies, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed as a Credit Recovery Specialist, you will need:

  1. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  2. Proven track record of success in credit recovery roles, with a minimum of 6 months or 1 year of experience.
  3. Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse client groups.
  4. Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency.
  5. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing debt recovery processes, ensuring compliance and minimizing risk.
  6. Proficiency in using financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel and Word.
