Business Development Manager: Credit Operations and Support

This role involves overseeing the end-to-end management of credit operations business, focusing on strategy development, process optimization, and adherence to regulatory compliance.

  • Develop strategic plans for innovative collection techniques based on market analysis and segmentation.
  • Establish targets for regional collections and recovery rates, with daily monitoring and evaluation of performance.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvement in credit evaluation, collections, and account reconciliation processes.
  • Ensure strict adherence to internal audit standards and external regulatory requirements related to credit, data protection, and collections.
  • Design credit strategies that balance customer retention with financial risk, incorporating early risk detection and proactive engagement initiatives.
  • Manage timely and accurate evaluation of credit limits for new and existing accounts according to established policies.
  • Develop detailed profiles of postpaid customers based on creditworthiness, payment history, and debt capacity.
  • Prepare and maintain PTA data, categorize corporate accounts according to defined PTA criteria.
  • Reconcile postpaid bad debts, adjustments, balances, and billing revenue with finance, sales, and other stakeholders.
  • Finalize postpaid account settlements, secure refund of security deposits as needed.
  • Conduct thorough testing and audits for quality assurance in credit and support services.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to generate actionable insights from collections, aging, and risk exposure reports, informing business strategy refinement.

Strong leadership skills, analytical thinking, and effective communication are essential for this role. Ideal candidates will possess experience in credit management, collections, and account reconciliation, enabling them to drive business growth and optimize operational efficiency.
