An IT support officer job is to provide technical support for an organization's IT systems and users. This includes: 

  • Installing and maintaining: Setting up and configuring computer systems, hardware, software, printers, and phones 
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and fixing hardware and software issues, and troubleshooting performance issues 
  • Supporting users: Providing technical support to users over the phone, via email, or remotely 
  • Training: Teaching employees how to use software and hardware 
  • Analyzing needs: Identifying vulnerabilities and analyzing staff needs to improve efficiency 
  • Designing and implementing: Designing, implementing, and testing systems and networks 
  • Maintaining records: Keeping logs of repairs and fixes, and preparing reports 
  • Collaborating: Working with remote IT teams to provide support services 
  • Setting up events: Assisting with the set-up and running of events 
  • Data Backup & Archiving: Perform regular backups for end users and archive emails.
  • Helpdesk Support: Resolve IT tickets within defined SLAs, providing efficient user support.
  • Video Conferencing: Facilitate smooth video conferencing experiences.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean IT equipment and manage setup for new employees.
  • Inventory Management: Update IT asset database with accurate, timely entries.
  • Meeting Room Technology: Manage and troubleshoot IT equipment in meeting rooms.
  • LAN Network Management: Maintain and monitor the local area network for optimal performance.
  • CCTV Monitoring, Configurations and resolving the LAN Connectivity
