Creative designer

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly creative and versatile Creative Designer to join our internal team. This role combines UI/UX design, graphic design, and video editing expertise to craft impactful digital experiences and visual content that elevate our brand presence. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented designer who thrives on creativity, collaboration, and storytelling, bringing ideas to life across digital platforms, products, and campaigns.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct user research to understand the needs, goals, and pain points of our target audience, and use these insights to inform design decisions.
• Create user personas and journey maps to visualize and communicate user behaviors, ensuring all design solutions are user-centered.
• Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to illustrate the layout, flow, and functionality of digital products and web assets.
• Design visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for web and internal platforms, considering color schemes, typography, iconography, and overall aesthetics.
• Create and maintain brand-aligned graphics for digital and print materials, including social media posts, presentations, case studies, and marketing collateral.
• Edit short videos for campaigns, tutorials, and employer branding purposes, ensuring consistency with the company's visual identity.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as the content manager, web developer, and brand lead to ensure all creative outputs align with the company's goals and standards.
• Establish and maintain design systems and visual guidelines to ensure consistency and scalability across various digital touchpoints.
• Ensure all designs comply with brand and accessibility standards and provide a cohesive visual experience across platforms.
• Conduct usability and quality checks on designs, videos, and launched assets to identify improvements and maintain high visual standards.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies to continually enhance creativity and innovation.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in UI/UX design, graphic design, or multimedia creation.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and Figma.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design, responsive design, and visual storytelling.
• Experience with light video editing and motion graphics is a plus.
• Excellent sense of layout, color, and typography.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• A portfolio demonstrating UI/UX, branding, and video work is required.

Education, Experience, Key Proficiencies, & Core Competencies:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in design, human-computer interaction, visual arts, or a related field is required.
• Advanced certifications or postgraduate studies in UI/UX, graphic design, or digital product development are highly desirable.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing user interfaces for digital platforms, including web and mobile applications.
• Prior experience working in collaborative, cross-functional environments is preferred.

Key Proficiencies:

• Proficient with leading design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, and prototyping platforms.
• Solid understanding of HTML/CSS and responsive design principles.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and design sprints is a plus.

Core Competencies:

• Strong visual design skills, attention to detail, and ability to balance aesthetics with usability. Excellent problem-solving abilities, user empathy, and capacity to synthesize research findings into actionable design solutions.
• Effective communication skills to present and explain design concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
