Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Factory Manager role located in Karachi. The Factory Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, including production planning, quality control, and production management. Additional responsibilities include coordinating manufacturing operations and managing overall factory performance. The Factory Manager ensures that all processes are running smoothly, meeting production targets, and maintaining high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage factory operations, including
    production, assembly, and quality control
    .
  • Plan and monitor production schedules to ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
  • Manage
    inventory of raw materials and finished goods
    , coordinate with procurement and accounts teams for stock planning.
  • Ensure machines, equipment, and tools are properly maintained; coordinate basic maintenance and repairs.
  • Lead, train, and supervise factory staff, ensuring safe and efficient working practices.
  • Work closely with the management team to
    control costs, improve efficiency, and support new product development
    .
  • Prepare simple reports on production, stock levels, and workforce performance for management.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions proactively.

Requirements:

  • Minimum
    8 years of experience
    in manufacturing operations, preferably in
    water coolers, refrigeration, or industrial appliances
    .
  • Strong knowledge of
    production processes, quality standards, and factory workflows
    .
  • Proven leadership and people management skills
  • Practical, problem-solving mindset; willing to be hands-on when required.
  • Ability to multitask and manage both
    strategic planning and daily operations
    .
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or relevant field (preferred but not mandatory with strong industry experience).
