Company Description

The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA), established under the Punjab Safe Cities Ordinance 2015, aims to develop and maintain an integrated command, control, and communication system (PPIC3) for public safety in major cities of Punjab. The PPIC3 Center was first developed for Punjab Police in Lahore, with plans to expand to other large cities in the province. Recently, the PSCA has identified 2000 locations for installing more than 10,000 surveillance cameras, covering public institutions, key infrastructure, public roads, crime hotspots, VVIP routes, entry & exit points, and public places.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Maintenance Officer located in Punjab, Pakistan. The Chief Maintenance Officer will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of equipment, conducting corrective maintenance, ensuring the functionality of electrical systems, and maintaining effective communication within the maintenance team. This role involves managing maintenance schedules, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Equipment Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, and Maintenance & Repair skills
  • Knowledge of Electricity and electrical systems
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Leadership and team management abilities
  • Ability to work on-site and manage maintenance activities locally
  • Experience in public safety or related sectors is a plus

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or related field· Proven track record of delivering technology-related business outcomes across a large, complex portfolio

· Proven success working collaboratively on cross-functional, and highly collaborative teams.

· Performs special projects as required by COO

· Evaluates newly implemented plans.

· Diagnosing technical issues, plan and develop operational policies and SLAs.

· Directs activities of the technical division's operations by scheduling and assigning work, determining methods for doing work, checking quality of work and monitoring workflow to ensure timely completion of activities

· Plan, direct and oversees a company's operational policies, rules, initiatives, and goals.

· Help organization to execute long-term and short-term plans and directives by implementing judgement, vision, management, and leadership

· Proven experience of developing RFPs, Scope of services, tender evaluation etc. for future projects.

· Ensuring that the technological resources meet the company's short and long-term needs.

· Measures effectiveness and efficiency of operational processes both internally and externally and finds ways to improve processes

· Plan and coordinate all maintenance activities in the enterprise network and facilities including analyzing equipment needs, reliability issues, developing preventive/predictive maintenance programs

· Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities

· Carry out inspections of the networks and facilities to identify and resolve issues

· Acts as a liaison internally and externally for quality assurance

· Coach, mentor, train and develop maintenance employees to meet current and future business requirements

· Monitor equipment inventory / spares and place orders when necessary

· Build an upkeep long term relationships with contractors and service providers

· Ensuring all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards.
