Position Overview

We are looking for a
Virtual Medical Assistant (VMA)

to join our growing team. The VMA will work directly with U.S.-based physician groups, providing administrative and clinical support remotely. This role requires excellent communication skills, medical knowledge, and the ability to work during U.S. business hours.

Key Responsibilities

i. Answer and manage inbound patient phone calls in real time, ensuring a professional and compassionate patient experience.

ii. Support scheduling of patient appointments, follow-ups, and consults according to practice workflows.

iii. Assist with medication prior authorizations and insurance-related coordination.

iv. Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic health record (EHR) systems as required.

v. Act as an extension of the U.S. clinic staff, ensuring timely communication and task completion.

vi. Provide general back-office support including patient intake documentation and follow-up reminders.

Qualifications

a. Minimum of
2–3 years of healthcare experience

(clinical or administrative).

b. Familiarity with
U.S. healthcare workflows

, EMRs/EHRs (e.g., eClinicalWorks, Epic, Allscripts) preferred.

c. Strong
English communication skills

(verbal and written) with a neutral or clear accent.

d. Medical background (nursing, medical assisting, pharmacy tech, etc.) strongly preferred.

e. Ability to work night shifts aligned with
U.S. Central/Eastern Time Zones

.

f. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
