We are currently looking for a Head of Stores for one of our clients (a manufacturing concern) for the role based in Lahore, PK.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head of Stores (Manufacturing) located in Lahore. The Head of Stores will oversee daily operations of the storehouse, manage inventory levels, and ensure that all materials are stored properly. Responsibilities include coordinating with suppliers, monitoring staff performance, conducting regular audits, and implementing best practices for inventory management. The role requires effective communication with various departments to meet production needs and maintain operational efficacy.

𝑬𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑹𝒆𝒒𝒖𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒅: BSc Engineer/MBA Supply Chain

𝑬𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝑹𝒆𝒒𝒖𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒅: 10 – 15 Years of total experience in any manufacturing concern preferably /textile sector.

𝑱𝒐𝒃 𝑫𝒆𝒔𝒄𝒓𝒊𝒑𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏:

  1. Oversee all stores operations, including receiving, storage, issuance, and dispatch of raw materials, consumables, spare parts, and finished goods.
  2. Develop and implement effective inventory control systems to maintain optimal stock levels, minimize waste, and reduce carrying costs.
  3. Ensure timely generation of Purchase Requisitions (PRs) for raw materials and coordinate with procurement to maintain uninterrupted material availability.
  4. Verify inventory records by conducting physical stock counts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring timely corrective action.
  5. Manage scrap material disposal/sales with proper approvals from the CEO.
  6. Ensure strict adherence to company policies, SOPs, and health & safety regulations in all store operations.
  7. Maintain proper documentation, record-keeping, and audit readiness for all inventory-related activities.
  8. Lead, supervise, and train store staff, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and compliance.
  9. Prepare and present accurate reports on stock levels, consumption trends, discrepancies, and operational efficiency.
  10. Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of store facilities, equipment, and material handling systems.
  11. Promote a positive workplace culture with a focus on grooming, discipline, and teamwork.
  12. Handle staff grievances effectively and ensure employee turnover remains within 6%–8% annually.
