Principal Business System Analyst

Location: Onsite - PECHS, Karachi

We are a fast-growing software solutions company delivering complex, high-impact platforms for global clients. We are seeking a Principal Business System Analyst, someone with deep technical acumen, proven leadership and a track record of driving clarity in complex solution design.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead solution design workshops with clients to deeply understand requirements, identify gaps and translate business needs into actionable deliverables.
  • Develop and own key documentation including Business Requirements Document (BRD), Functional Specification Document (FSD) and solution blueprints.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, designers and engineers to create user flows, system flows, and wireframes that make complex systems simple and intuitive.
  • Provide development effort estimates and guide clients on realistic delivery timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Pre-Sales teams to shape proposals, quotations and solution pitches for prospective clients.
  • Conduct market research and contribute to technical content writing for marketing efforts (whitepapers, case studies, blogs, capability decks).
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams, ensuring alignment between business vision and technical execution.
  • Support project managers and technical leads in scope definition, backlog prioritization and roadmap planning.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, Engineering Manager, Software Development Lead or similar role where you led solution design and requirement analysis.
  • Strong background in software engineering principles and the ability to bridge business and technical conversations seamlessly.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead workshops, engage with executive stakeholders and simplify complex ideas into structured deliverables.
  • Hands-on experience creating BRDs, FSDs, wireframes and flow diagrams.
  • Experience working with sales/pre-sales teams on proposals, quotations and client solutioning.
  • Ability to provide development effort estimations and translate them into actionable plans for engineering teams.
  • Strong analytical, communication and leadership skills.
  • Plus: Experience writing technical marketing content or conducting market research for positioning software solutions.

You will be the linchpin in ensuring our projects succeed - the person who translates vision into clarity, supports sales growth and sets up our development teams for delivery excellence.
