We are looking for a Technical Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of our complex Title Production System. This system is built with Java, Wildfly and MS SQL Server while modernization efforts incorporate Angular and Spring Boot. The role requires a strong technical background with exposure to these or relevant technologies, along with a deep understanding of product development complexities and delivery challenges. While this is not a hands-on development role, the ideal candidate should be technically adept at guiding teams, drive best practices, and ensure seamless delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Delivery Management & Execution

  2. Lead and oversee the end-to-end technical delivery

  3. Define and implement delivery roadmaps, timelines, and milestones in alignment with business objectives.
  4. Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks, ensuring timely resolution.
  5. Ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software releases by enforcing best practices.

  6. Drive modernization efforts, ensuring smooth integration of Angular and Spring Boot with existing systems.

  7. Technical Oversight & Governance

  8. Ensure architectural consistency across teams, aligning with best practices for Java, Spring Boot and Hibernate.

  9. Work closely with Architects and Development Leads to define and enforce technical standards.
  10. Provide strategic input on scalability, performance optimization, and technical debt management.

  11. Collaborate with QA Practice Lead to ensure rigorous testing and quality assurance.

  12. Agile & Scrum Leadership

  13. Drive Agile adoption across teams, ensuring alignment with Scrum best practices.

  14. Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives to improve team efficiency.

  15. Act as a bridge between development teams, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication.

  16. Team Coordination & Stakeholder Management

  17. Work closely with engineering managers, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

  18. Set clear expectations, establish accountability, and drive a culture of collaboration and ownership.

  19. Communicate progress, challenges, and risks effectively to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

  20. Process Optimization & Tooling

  21. Improve CI/CD pipelines and delivery processes using Azure DevOps.

  22. Ensure effective version control and branching strategies with Git.
  23. Identify and introduce process improvements to enhance delivery efficiency and quality.

Qualifications & Skills

Must-Have:

  • 12+ years of experience in software development & delivery, with a focus on enterprise applications.
  • Strong technical understanding of Java, MS SQL Server, Hibernate, and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with modern web technologies (Angular, React, or similar frameworks).
  • Hands-on exposure to Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale product deliveries in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in managing cross-functional teams, aligning stakeholders, and driving execution.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Good understanding of Title Production Systems
  • Good understanding of JavaFX, Wildfly, JBPM
  • Exposure to microservices architecture, event-driven design, and cloud-native development.
  • Experience in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong understanding of security, compliance, and DevOps best practices.
