Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Manager Tax & Compliance, located in Islamabad. The Assistant Manager Tax & Compliance will be responsible for managing tax compliance, preparing and filing tax returns, handling tax audits, and ensuring adherence to tax regulations. The role also involves monitoring changes in tax laws, providing tax advice, and ensuring the company's tax practices align with legal requirements. Additionally, the role involves assisting with financial reporting, analyzing tax liabilities, and supporting the finance team in various compliance-related matters.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Tax Compliance, Tax Audits, and Preparing and Filing Tax Returns
  • Knowledge of Tax Regulations, Tax Laws, and Tax Liabilities
  • Knowledge Financial Reporting and Analytical Skills
  • Proficiency in using Accounting Software and Tools
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
  • Ability to Work Independently and Collaboratively
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional Certifications such as CPA or ACCA is Advantageous
  • Experience in the telecommunications or construction industry is advantageous
