Job Responsibilities

  • Writing
    clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
  • Develop
    and
    support software, including applications, database integration, interfaces,
    and new functionality enhancements
  • Coordinate
    cross-functionally to ensure the project meets
    business objectives
    and
    compliance standards
  • Supports testing
    and
    deployment
    of new products and features.
  • Participate
    in code reviews.
  • Take ownership
    of project outcomes and drive the
    resolution of challenges
    with urgency and focus.

Requirements

  • Strong
    problem-solving
    and
    programming
    skills.
  • Proficiency in Ruby
    and familiarity with
    Scala
    , or willingness to learn Scala if not already experienced.
  • 3+ years
    of
    experience with Ruby on Rails
    in production environments.
  • 2+ years
    of
    experience
    in at least one of the modern JavaScript
    front-end frameworks
    (e.g.,
    Stimulus, React, Vue, or Angular
    ) and UI design systems like
    Tailwind CSS.
  • Solid understanding of
    functional programming, object-oriented design
    , and
    database design
    principles.
  • Excellent
    communication
    and
    collaboration skills.
  • Experience with developing
    Ruby gems, Flutter & AWS
    is a
    huge bonus
    but not required.
