Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Ruby on Rails Engineer to join our fast-paced engineering team. You'll be working on scalable web applications, building robust backend systems, and integrating with third-party platforms like Stripe and Shopify. If you're passionate about clean code, best practices, and building products that scale—we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • •Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code.
  • •Implement and manage background jobs (e.g., Sidekiq) to handle asynchronous processing
  • •Build secure authentication systems (e.g., Devise) and implement role-based authorization
  • •Integrate third-party APIs and services including Stripe, Shopify, and others
  • •Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to deliver seamless user experiences
  • •Write clean, maintainable code and perform regular code reviews
  • •Optimize application for performance, scalability, and security
  • •Participate in architecture decisions and technical planning

Requirements:

  • •6months - 2yrs of experience with Ruby on Rails
  • •Strong command over Active Record and database design
  • •Hands-on experience with background job frameworks (e.g., Sidekiq)
  • •Solid knowledge of authentication and authorization strategies
  • •Experience with Stripe, Shopify, or other 3rd party API integrations
  • •Familiarity with Git, and Agile development practices
  • •Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • •Good communication and collaboration abilities
