Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing, reviewing, and verifying import documentation including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and other customs-related paperwork.
  • Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and relevant authorities to ensure timely clearance and delivery of shipments.
  • Monitor shipment schedules and update internal teams on shipment status.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable import regulations, duties, and taxes.
  • Maintain accurate records of import documentation for audits and internal reference.
  • Assist in resolving documentation discrepancies and customs issues.
  • Support the Import Documentation Manager in implementing process improvements and compliance controls.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of import regulations and customs procedures.
