Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Upwork Bidder to join our Business Development team. The candidate will be responsible for managing the company's Upwork profile, writing proposals, and securing projects by effectively communicating with international clients. The role requires strong proposal writing skills, client communication, and a proactive approach to generating business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize the company's profile on Upwork (and other freelance platforms if required).
- Search for relevant projects daily and submit high-quality, customized bids.
- Write persuasive proposals tailored to client requirements.
- Communicate with clients through chat, video calls, or email to understand their needs and close deals.
- Collaborate with internal teams (technical & delivery teams) to prepare accurate proposals.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and achieve monthly targets.
- Track all bidding activity, leads, and conversions for reporting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Upwork bidder or in online bidding (Fiverr, Freelancer, etc. experience is a plus).
- Strong proposal writing and English communication skills.
- Ability to understand client requirements and prepare tailored proposals.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Familiarity with IT services, software development, or digital marketing is preferred.
