Job Title: Travel Agent – Ticketing & Reservations

Department: Travel Division

Location: Times Travel Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Travel Agent – Ticketing & Reservations will be responsible for handling customer travel requirements including flight reservations, ticket issuance, reissuance, cancellations, and itinerary management using Sabre GDS. The role involves providing excellent customer service, ensuring accurate fare quotations, and managing bookings efficiently while maintaining professional communication with clients and airline partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Handle flight reservations, ticket issuance, reissuance, cancellations, and refunds through Sabre GDS.

  2. Provide fare quotes, routing options, and travel advice to clients according to their requirements.

  3. Manage PNRs and ensure accuracy in all travel bookings and documentation.

  4. Coordinate with airlines, suppliers, and customers for special requests, group bookings, and schedule changes.

  5. Ensure timely communication with clients regarding ticket status, fare changes, or travel updates.

  6. Maintain accurate records of bookings, invoices, and correspondence.

  7. Work closely with the after-sales and finance teams for refunds, commissions, and payment settlements.

  8. Stay updated on airline policies, fare rules, and travel regulations.

  9. Deliver exceptional customer service and build long-term relationships with clients.

Qualifications & Skills:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism, Business, or a related field.

  2. 2–4 years of experience in ticketing and reservation roles (preferably in a travel agency or airline).

  3. Strong proficiency in Sabre GDS (knowledge of Amadeus or Galileo is a plus).

  4. Excellent knowledge of international & domestic routes, fares, and airline policies.

  5. Good command of English communication (written & verbal).

  6. Strong customer service skills with a professional and positive attitude.
