PMD is looking for a Manager Technical who will lead the team responsible for the maintenance, development and data security of PMD's technology infrastructure (including power supply and backup system housed within the datacenters), as well as deployment and maintenance of services hosted by PMD.

Education

16+ years of education BS/MS in Telecom, Computer Science or related field.

Desired Experience/Certifications:

5-7 years of overall work experience in IT industry with at least:

  • 5+ year experience in configuring, deploying & integrating Linux based IT solutions.
  • 3+ year work experience in deployment and management of storage (FC SAN).
  • 3+ year Datacenter management experience.

Must have
Linux Systems Administration certification
(
VMware
DCV certification is a must) with certification in at least two of the following domains:

  • Databases
    (
    OCP
    Path, MariaDB etc.)
  • Information Security
    . Any Information Security certifications from one of the following:

SO

(ISC)2
,
EC-Council
,
Offensive Security
,
SANS

  • CDPC, ITIL
    or
    COBIT
    ,
    SCRUM
    Master,
    Six Sigma
    ,
    PMP
    Certifications are a plus.

Essential Skills:

  • Hands-on
    Linux systems administration in Linux based Virtualized Environment.
  • Hands-on
    administration of storage and backup solutions (FC SAN).
  • Hands-on
    experience in API deployment
    and familiarity with
    databases
    .
  • Datacenter management (including power supply and backup systems).

Other Skills:

  • Working Experience in
    high availability (HA)
    architectures and
    disaster recovery
    solutions.
  • Experience in implementing
    information/cyber security
    practices in line with industry standards.
  • Good knowledge of
    information technology management
    and
    IT governance
    .
  • Experience in preparing technical budget.
  • Experience in employee performance evaluation.
  • Experience in preparing technical RFP/RFQs and bid evaluation.
  • Good people management skills.
  • Experience in managing technical projects and the commitment to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
