Role Overview:
Thryve Labs is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive sales and client acquisition through
Upwork bidding and LinkedIn prospecting. This role is ideal for someone who is results-oriented,
persuasive, and experienced in identifying opportunities within the IT and software development sectors.
The candidate should be confident in writing proposals, managing client communication, and building
long-term business relationships.
Location: NASTP, Cantt, Lahore – Onsite
Experience: 1–2 Years (Preferably in the IT Industry)
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Sales
Timings: Full-time, Onsite
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and grow Thryve Labs' profiles on Upwork, LinkedIn, and other freelancing
platforms.
• Identify, qualify, and bid on Upwork projects aligned with company expertise (Web
Development, SaaS, AI, Mobile Apps, etc.).
• Craft customized, technically sound proposals, avoiding generic templates.
• Conduct LinkedIn prospecting — researching, connecting, and engaging with potential clients.
• Collaborate with technical and marketing teams to ensure proposals align with Thryve Labs'
services and capabilities.
• Maintain accurate CRM records of leads, proposals, and ongoing communications.
• Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
• Achieve monthly lead generation and deal conversion targets.
Qualifications
• 1–2 years of experience in business development, preferably in an IT/software development
company.
• Proven success in Upwork bidding with a track record of closed deals (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of LinkedIn Sales Navigator or other prospecting tools.
• Excellent English communication and writing skills.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and client-handling abilities.
• Knowledge of digital marketing, software development, or AI-based solutions is a plus.
• Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work collaboratively in an office environment.
