IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

Be responsible for performance qualification, evaluation & Certification testing of all kind of store items, including Flash Fiber, Wireline, Wireless, IP & Network devices etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performance and Qualification Testing of Production, Pre-Production xDSL/ GPON/Flash Fiber CPEs i.e. (Flash Fiber, Wireline, Wireless, IP & Network devices etc.) according to available T&S Specifications and industry best practices, and preparation of subsequent TERs.
  • Testing of Measuring and Testing Instruments i.e Cable Route Locator, Cable Fault Locator ( OTDR), Insulation Tester and DMM etc Emerging & High-end Miscellaneous Technical assignments. QoE analytics / studies, Regulations, Network Performance Tools, and Technical evaluations etc.Contributing values through intelligent testing & certifications of terminal devices for an improved customer experience management.
  • Benchmark studies, Proof of concept testing and validations of Emerging solutions,? Technical Evaluations, Responsible for identifying actual or potential problems in CPE software/ hardware (components,technical focus will be on GPON, IPTV, VDSL technology, Evolving telecom trends.
  • Provide support to interdepartmental teams and ensure smooth operation of QA Lab,Preparation and implementation of key processes related to GPON Devices Testing life cycle.
  • Infrastructure Upgradation of QA GPON Lab equipping through high precision Laboratory-grade intelligent instruments and gadgets.
  • Managing various Internal and external Technical Audits of Lab.

Qualification:

  • BS/BE(Electrical/ Telecommunication) HEC recognized university.

Technical
Competencies

  • Testing of Measuring and Testing Instruments i.e Cable Route Locator, Cable Fault Locator (mTDR & OTDR), Insulation Tester ,etc.
  • Database management of GPON Devices.
  • Sound knowledge of HDM Protocols TR-069/TR143,Wi-Fi Protocols a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be), Wi-Fi channels and bands, Wi-Fi latest technology and their maximum capabilities.
  • Hands on experience of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point, MS Outlook, MS Teams.
