JOB SUMMARY:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, fostering relationships with potential clients, and expanding the company's market presence. You will be instrumental in driving the strategic growth of the company by exploring new markets, managing partnerships, and leading sales initiatives. Will be responsible for building, nurturing, and managing strategic partnerships with industry players, academic institutions, and government bodies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

:

1.    
Market Research & Strategy Development

:

a.     
Conduct thorough market analysis to identify new business opportunities, trends, and potential areas for expansion.

b.    
Develop and execute business development strategies to meet company goals and objectives.

c.     
Understand and anticipate client needs, market demands, and competitive landscape.

2.
Partnerships & Alliances:

a.     
Identify and establish strategic partnerships, alliances, and channel relationships to accelerate market entry.

b.

Negotiate and manage partnerships to ensure mutual value creation and long-term success
.

3.    
Collaboration with Internal Teams

:

a.     
Collaborate with marketing, product, and technical and finance teams to align business development efforts with company offerings.

b.    
Provide feedback from clients and prospects to improve product features and market positioning.

4.    
Performance Tracking & Reporting

:

a.     
Monitor, analyse, and report on key performance metrics, sales targets, and business development initiatives.

b.    
Regularly present business development progress to senior management.

5.    
Networking & Industry Engagement

:

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking meetings.
  • Build a strong professional network within the tech industry to identify potential partnerships and collaborations.

Other Specific Tasks (If any)

  • Experience with MOUs, contract negotiation and legal document drafting.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field. MBA is a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role in the tech industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong knowledge of the start-up and Ed-tech industry, emerging technologies, and market trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with diverse teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
