Role Description

We work with trusted carrier partners and focus on delivering consistent communication and service excellence to our customers. We're looking for a Load Tracking Representative to join our growing operations team. This individual will play a key role in ensuring every shipment is closely monitored, every update is accurate, and every customer stays informed from pickup to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track active loads from dispatch to delivery through carrier communication and tracking tools.
  • Communicate proactively with drivers, dispatchers, and carrier reps to confirm status updates.
  • Record accurate location updates and ETAs in our TMS and internal systems.
  • Notify account managers of any potential delays, issues, or service disruptions.
  • Follow up on deliveries to obtain PODs and close out completed loads.
  • Maintain consistent communication with customers regarding shipment status.
  • Collaborate with the dispatch and carrier sales team to ensure smooth load execution.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in freight brokerage, dispatch, carrier sales, or load tracking (preferred but not required).
  • Strong communication skills able to handle frequent driver and customer updates professionally.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced logistics environment.
  • Basic understanding of U.S. trucking lanes, time zones, and transit times.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Google Sheets, Excel, or Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
  • Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable internet connection and computer/laptop.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor's degree a plus, but not required).
