Job Purpose:

As a Senior Accounts Executive at Eminent4U Private Limited, you are pivotal in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of the company's financial operations. Your role involves the end-to-end handling of financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting, all while maintaining alignment with internal deadlines and UK accounting standards. Through collaboration with cross-functional teams and onshore counterparts, you will contribute to the financial health and operational efficiency of the organization

Responsibilities and KPIs:

• Financial Transactions & Documentation: Accurately record daily financial transactions and ensure all postings are timely, precise, and properly classified across relevant accounts.
• Invoicing & Payment Processing: Coordinate and issue customer invoices, process refunds and receipts, and ensure all transactions are properly documented.
• Reconciliation & Dispute Resolution: Prepare and maintain accounts payable aging reports, manage payment runs, and reconcile discrepancies between the CRM and accounting software efficiently, and resolve disputes promptly. Reconcile accounts payable ledgers and resolve any discrepancies promptly. Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and related reporting.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare weekly, monthly and annual internal cost-benefit analysis reports within deadlines and with high attention to accuracy.
• Compliance & Controls: Manage accounts payable by reviewing and coding invoices accurately and posting them into the accounting software.
• Review purchase orders alongside the corresponding invoices and update the invoice status to reflect the current status of each related purchase order.
• Assist in the month-end, year-end closings, including intercompany transactions, fixed assets register, and statutory reports.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for streamlining accounting processes to improve accuracy, speed, and reporting efficiency.
• Collaboration & Support: Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including onshore counterparts, to ensure smooth financial operations. Support special projects and provide ad hoc financial analysis and support as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CA, ACCA, or other professional qualifications will be considered an advantage.
• 2 - 4 years of proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a fast-paced and dynamic organization.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and core accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced Excel, and hands-on experience with accounting tools such as Sage, Xero, Quick Books, etc.
• Excellent ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and analytical thinking in day-to-day financial operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience working in a UK-based organization or client environment.

• Team-oriented mindset.
• Flexibility and adeptness in managing assigned tasks.
• Candidates with prior experience of working in a UK based organization or firm will be preferred.
