About the role:

Pricing is a core function within Telenor, responsible for driving overall commercial strategy and strategy governance. The successful candidate will use data-driven insights to influence major portfolio and investment discussions & manage key stakeholders, including the c-suite, across the organization. This is a high impact and high visibility role that serves as a critical stepping-stone for future marketing leadership positions. 

Your Typical Day will include:

  • Commercial Strategy: Lead the commercial strategy cycle for your domain(s), identify key growth drivers, including capex, and plan annual revenue growth ambitions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Technology, Strategy) to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Portfolio Management and Pricing: Utilize portfolio optimization techniques and advanced segmentation models to manage the overall portfolio.
  • Collaborate with product owners to ensure that tactical plans align with overall commercial strategy and maximize lifetime customer value.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of pricing initiatives, recommending adjustments as needed.
  • Data Analytics: Apply exploratory data analysis (EDA) and data visualization techniques to uncover insights, drive data-based decision-making and enhance the efficiency and accuracy of business operations.
  • Forecasting: Develop and manage decision models to forecast commercial revenue and key drivers.
  • Evaluate revenue performance to gauge if achievement is on-track with overall growth target; recommend actions if shortfall is expected

What we are looking for?

Education: Minimum BBA / BS Econ/ Mathematics / Computer Sciences

Work experience: 2 - 4 years in similar roles preferred

Functional Skills / Knowledge Areas:

  • Analytical skills with strong business acumen
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Storytelling & creating impactful slide decks
  • Immaculate communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Strong Interpersonal skills
