Position:
Chief Accountant

Experience Required:
Minimum 10 years

Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, MBA, or a related field

Industry Preference:
Textile or manufacturing industry background is mandatory

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all accounting operations including financial reporting, budgeting, and auditing.
  • Manage accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and cost accounting functions.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and tax authorities.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Develop internal controls and improve financial systems for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support senior management in financial planning, forecasting, and decision-making.

Requirements:

  • At least 7-10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, preferably within the textile sector.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting and manufacturing finance.
  • Familiarity with the
    banking sector
    or prior experience working with banks will be a strong advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP systems, SAP, or similar).
