Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Back Office Operations Manager to oversee and optimize backend processes for our digital payment services. The role ensures smooth daily operations, secure and accurate transaction handling, and compliance with fintech regulatory standards. Candidates with experience in mobile financial services such as JazzCash, Easypaisa, NayaPay, or SadaPay are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily back-office operations for digital payments, including transaction monitoring, settlements, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of digital transactions across system reports, banks, and partners.
  • Handle dispute management, refunds, chargebacks, and escalations with Customer Support and Finance teams.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs for operational efficiency, quality control, and compliance.
  • Work closely with Product, Compliance, Finance, and IT teams to ensure system stability and quick resolution of errors or exceptions.
  • Track and report operational KPIs such as TAT, reconciliation gaps, transaction failures, and service uptime.
  • Lead and supervise the back-office operations team, ensuring performance standards are met.
  • Prepare periodic performance, exception, and risk reports for management review.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 5–7 years of experience in back-office or operations management within fintech, telecom, or financial services.
  • Hands-on experience with digital payment flows, wallets, settlements, reconciliations, and dispute handling.
  • Strong command of MS Excel, ERP systems, and fintech transaction platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a high-volume operations environment.
