We are now expanding our Sales & Pre-Sales function and looking for technically strong, client-focused Pre-Sales Engineers to support international business growth.
Role Overview
The Pre-Sales Engineer will lead the complete pre-sales cycle—from understanding client requirements to crafting tailored technical solutions, preparing proposals, and supporting deal closure.
You will act as a bridge between clients, project managers, and technical teams, ensuring all proposed solutions are accurate, feasible, and aligned with Applivity's delivery capabilities. This is a highly collaborative technical-sales role ideal for individuals who combine strong technical understanding with excellent communication.
Key Responsibilities :-
Client Discovery & Requirement Analysis
- Conduct detailed client discovery sessions to gather functional and technical requirements.
- Ask targeted questions to ensure full clarity of business needs and technical expectations.
Solution Design & Presentation
- Design and present customized software, web, and product solutions based on client requirements.
- Prepare and deliver commercial and technical proposals including scope, timeline, pricing, and solution architecture.
Sales Enablement & Deal Support
- Conduct technical demonstrations, walkthroughs, and solution presentations.
- Lead technical discussions during negotiations to assist in smooth and successful deal closure.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to increase the value of each engagement.
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with development, project management, and technical leads to validate feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Ensure accurate handover to delivery teams after deal closure.
Documentation & CRM
- Maintain proposal data, client communication, and opportunity records in the CRM.
- Prepare well-structured documentation, technical write-ups, estimation sheets, and solution outlines.
Market & Technology Awareness
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and modern frameworks to enhance Applivity's offerings.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 1 to 1.5 years of experience in Pre-Sales or Technical Consulting within a software development environment.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, solution architecture, and modern technology stacks (MERN, Laravel, mobile frameworks).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), DevOps practices, and AI-based solutions.
- Excellent English communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience preparing proposals, estimations, and documentation.
- Ability to handle client communication and support technical discussions confidently.
Nice to Have
- Experience preparing RFP/RFQ responses and technical blueprints.
- Understanding of international markets, especially the US.
