Job Context:

TCL Global is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and verifying student financial and academic documentation, ensuring compliance with institutional and immigration requirements, and most importantly should be well aware in preparing students for Pre-CAS, university and visa interviews.

The candidate must have a strong understanding of visa filing documentation and processes for the UK, Ireland, Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

1.  Document Review & Verification:

  • Review student financial and academic documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with university and visa requirements.
  • Verify authenticity of documents and flag discrepancies or issues.
  • Organize and maintain detailed records for each student's compliance file.

2.  Visa Documentation & Process Awareness:

  • Understand and assist with visa filing documentation requirements and processes for the UK, Ireland, Europe, Canada, and Australia.
  • Ensure all documentation aligns with the specific immigration regulations of each destination country.

3.  Student Interview Preparation:

  • Conduct mock interviews to prepare students for Pre-CAS, university admission, and visa interviews.
  • Provide detailed feedback and training to improve student performance and compliance readiness.
  • Keep updated with country-specific visa and interview trends.

4.  Compliance Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Ensure student cases follow institutional, immigration, and internal compliance procedures.
  • Prepare compliance and risk assessment reports for the management team.
  • Liaise with admissions, counselling, and visa teams for seamless coordination.

5.  Communication:

  • Clearly communicate documentation or compliance requirements to students.
  • Handle queries related to compliance and visa filing processes with professionalism and confidentiality.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:


•  Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business or a related field.


•  Minimum 1–2 years of experience in compliance, visa documentation, or international education (preferred).


•  Familiarity with visa processes for the UK, Ireland, Europe mandatory.

Skills & Competencies:


•  Strong knowledge of visa documentation and immigration regulations across multiple countries.


•  Excellent attention to detail and high standards of document accuracy.


•  Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially for conducting mock interviews.


•  Ability to manage multiple cases, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.


•  High level of confidentiality and data protection awareness.


•  Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Zoom, Teams and other basic document management and audio /video calling tools and apps.

Desirable:


•  Experience in working with international education related organizations.

And expert in Pre CAS interviews preparation


•  Understanding of CAS issuance, GTE (Genuine Temporary Entrant) criteria, and other pre-visa checks.
