Customer Support Specialist – Ecommerce

Founded in 2022, The Shashka Syndicate is an Austria based fashion brand with a purely online presence. As our customer base is expanding, the team is now looking for support with its backend activities around customer relations and administrative assistance.

This individual will be handling all external facing customer support activities. Support channels would be a combination of both Email as well as Social Media. Due to the external communication aspect, fluency in English is a must.

Customer Service (Tasks and responsibilities)

  • Sharing order tracking information with customers
  • Sharing order status updates with customers
  • Following up with shipping companies to enquire about customers orders
  • Following up with customers quickly and efficiently
  • Handle customer complaints, refunds & returns
  • Follow internal communication guidelines (tone of voice etc.)
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information to customers
  • Keep records of customer interactions

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer service facing role, preferably in e-commerce
  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized university (Business Administration, Marketing or related field preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Comfortable working in a very fast-paced, remote environment
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to multitask
  • Ability to think out of the box
  • Highly responsible with the ability to handle high pressure situations
  • Familiarity with tools such as Shopify, Gmail, Instagram and Zendesk
  • A proactive and empathetic communicator who naturally aligns with our brand's tone of voice
  • Someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people, going the extra mile to provide clients with solutions and providing exceptional service

Working arrangement

This is a full time position. The candidate will be expected to be fully available and working during office hours (Monday - Friday).

This is a 100% remote working arrangement.
