Business Development Representative

About the Role
We are looking for a Junior AE/BDR to join
Since you would be the first impression of our company:
Who are you? Confident, charismatic, and passionate about engaging with business owners.
Your role is, of course, to research and identify target accounts, cold call, send personalised emails, connect on LinkedIn, and try to start conversations from scratch.
The goal is to create opportunities by getting net-new prospects interested enough to take a meeting. Tasks will include building prospect lists, doing outreach campaigns, finding decision-makers, setting first appointments, and keeping follow-ups.
And:
- Qualify leads and prepare them for senior AE handoff when appropriate
- Support senior AEs during the closing stages and negotiations to develop closing skills
- Track client needs, goals, and feedback to provide valuable account insights
- Deliver accurate reporting on pipeline, outreach, and account activity
- Stay current on industry trends and competitor activity
This role aims to offer a structured development path where you will:
- Begin with a focus on prospecting and light account management
- Progress to managing a portfolio of accounts while shadowing senior closers
- Eventually, handle your own full-cycle deals as you develop your skills with us. :)
Would be great if:
You have Previous experience in sales, customer service, or business development.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills (it's easy to tell during interviews)
Self-motivated with strong time management abilities, proactive, and responsible
Ability to understand client needs and translate them into solutions
Comfort with ZOHO CRM (or familiarity with other CRM systems and sales technologies, otherwise it's alright, we'll explain.
Most importantly, eager to grow, learn, and improve their knowledge and skills.
