Job Summary

The Finance Officer will manage daily financial operations, maintain accurate records, handle petty cash, and assist management with budgeting and reporting. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow within a fast-paced company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Reconcile bank accounts and ensure timely payments
  • Handle petty cash transactions and maintain proper documentation
  • Process payroll and monitor expense records
  • Assist in preparing monthly and annual budgets
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
  • Provide financial insights and reports to management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, ACCA or a related field
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Peachtree)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage petty cash responsibly and maintain transparent records
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
