Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor compliance policies, procedures, and controls in line with the regulatory framework, ensure cybersecurity measures meet regulatory standards.
  • Lead regulatory compliance across all domains - including AML/CFT, data protection & privacy, marketing communications, customer onboarding (KYC), and any other requirements applicable to NBFCs under SECP, SBP, FMU and related authorities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of all regulatory filings and returns.
  • Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and guidelines relevant to NBFCs, and advise management on implications.
  • Maintain awareness of FATF requirements, international sanctions, and cross-border data transfer restrictions relevant to NBFC operations.
  • Conduct internal compliance reviews to assess the effectiveness of controls and identify areas of risk.
  • Maintain records of all regulatory filings, correspondence, approvals, and compliance-related documents to ensure traceability and audit readiness with SECP, SBP, Stock Exchange, and other regulators.
  • Act as liaison with regulators.
  • Provide compliance training and awareness to employees.
  • Report regularly to the Board/Management on compliance status, risks, and remediation actions.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Mandatory: Minimum 5 years of compliance experience in a bank, NBFC or other financial institution.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable laws related to the financial sector specifically SECP NBFC regulations, AML/CFT guidelines, SBP prudential regulations, data protection, and governance standards.
  • Experience in handling audits, inspections, and regulatory queries.
  • Familiarity with digital lending, and fintech operations.
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
  • High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
